Gauri Lankesh, a renowned journalist from Bengaluru was murdered on Tuesday and this has been all over the media since then. About the same time, a female journalist who has previously worked with Republic TV attacked Arnab Goswami and the channel via social media.

In one of her Facebook posts, she has expressed her hatred towards the channel and her post is going viral at a god speed. In her post, Sumana stated that Gauri Lankesh received death threats from BJP-RSS workers, after which, she was found dead. To make it look authentic enough, she even shared a screenshot of Republic TV’s Twitter survey in her post.

Well, this is not the first time that Republic TV has been questioned about their approach as earlier also a student president, Shehla Rashid of JNU was seen asking Republic TV reporter to leave the spot as she didn’t want them to cover her activity.

One thing which comes out to be clear is that very few people trust Republic TV with their approach towards journalism and when a channel is questioned for their authenticity and credibility, it undoubtedly puts other people from the audience in a state of dilemma, whether to trust a news channel or not.
